The Easyriders Show in Louisville, Kentucky could have been canceled due to a record snow and ice storm hitting the area. The winter weather pounded West Virginia, Kentucky, Indiania  and Ohio for days preceeding show time.

We left Richmond, Virginia with the Gangster Van loaded full of swag heading West to Louisville. Soon after crossing the Blue Ridge Mountains we ran into the winter mix of snow and sleet. Our expected 8 hour drive was extended to 11 hours of cutting our own path, sometimes the road didn't even have tire tracks. We made multiple stops for coffee, cleaning the windshield and the headlights and adjusting the tire pressure.

Even with all of the bad weather the show turned out awesome. Plenty of people attended, show bikes filled the convention center and vendors were there showing off the latest in accessories. I asked dozens of spectators about their drive in and most all said it was definitely tough but they had planned on coming out and nothing was going to keep them away! Some said that the electricity was out at their homes, one guy said he carried a chain saw to cut away fallen limbs and trees on the way there and was expecting to have to do the same on the way home.

The next stop on the Tour is Knoxville, Tennesse. If Knoxville is close to you come on out.
