Started for a "Build Off" that fell away, "Build Off" contracts signed, "Build Off" sponsorships secured and no "Build Off". That's where the bikes name came from, after the TV cameras left the shop and it became apparent that the TV show was gone too, most of the sponsors backed out. Where would the funding come from? The bike debuted during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally on the Red Carpet in Deadwood and quickly stole the show from yesterday's masters. Michael Lichter photographed it while John Dodson made the lonesome trek thru the Badlands. American Iron Magazine photographed it at the Sturgis War Memorial, during John's visit to honor the fallen soldiers who had fought to win our freedom and liberate the rest of the world from evil.
